Tandem is almost always looking for new instructors to join our growing team of teachers.

What We Require

Because of our focus on teaching business languages the following minimum requirements apply before we can consider hiring you:

• You must have a university degree
• You must hold teaching & language proficiency  certification or equivalent
• You must have a positive enthusiastic attitude

In most cases we also look for previous teaching experience and/or practical experience working in a business environment.

Tandem is a friendly language school located in Prague 2, near Namesti Miru.

• Assistance with the Visa application process

Please note however that we do not normally employ teachers on a full time basis.  It is more normal for us to initially hire teachers on a part time basis, although with time it is possible to build a full schedule with us (or perhaps in conjunction with one or two other schools).

We encourage most of our teachers to work toward obtaining a Zivnostensky list (Czech business license) and can offer you support and assistance through the (sometimes complicated) process.
